Navn på dyr. Den klasse af hvirveldyrsrækken, som lever i både fersk og salt vand, har koldt blod og ånder ved gæller som fanges ved fiskeri.
Fisk kendes fra forhistorisk tid.
Akvakultur er dyrkning eller opdræt af vandlevende organismer såsom fisk, krebsdyr, snegle og vandplanter.
Alle fisk påvirkes positivt og negativt af deres miljø, det klima de lever i og vejret, herunder også miljøforurening og klimaforandringer, hvilket kan resultere i fiskedød.
